Book 8

Hey everyone, Odysseus again. It looks like I a going to be getting back to my family soon. Alcinous called an assembly to get sailors to help me return home. It was approved and now I have a ship and some sailors to get me home, but first Alcinous wanted to have a feast. In which there was singing, dancing and games in honor of me. I cried during a song about the war of Troy, which was pretty embarrassing, but the King saw me and ended the feast so the games could begin. At first I was planning not to participate in the games, but some athletes like Broadsea wanted to see what I was made of, yea, I owned them. Later in the night there was more music about Aphrodite cheating on Hephaistos with Ares, where I cried again of the sorrows of war, and this time the King had questions...

Book 3

Hey! what is up people! I am really starting to like this blog thing, 'cause without it i would have to be sending out so many letters to all my friends so they could know how I am doing on my little aventure. Well, speaking of adventure i talked to a few people about my father today, woot. I first came onto this fortress, docked my boat to let my crewmates ashore. I think they went into a bar and they are probably drunk right now. Well anyways, I talked to some man named Nestor. Turns out he knew about my dad. Supposedly after they pillaged Troy, there was a dissagreement between Agamemnon and Menelaos, Agamemnon wanted to stay and give praises to the gods, for letting them win the fight. And Menelaos wanted to just leave and get back to his family. So Nestor left with Menelaos  and my father, stayed with Agamemnon to give thanks to Athena and Zeus. So I got a new lead to my fathers' whereabouts, as long as he is not in Hades. *Sob*. I shouldn't even think like that. But honestly, i don't think he is still alive. Well, I will take the lead i have and go find Menelaos tomorrow and find out what happened to my dad and where!

Book 4

Hey it is Telemakhos, and I am laying here in my luxury bed, getting my feet bathed and massaged. and i am getting a backrub. Let me take you back to how i got into this state of being... It all started when i said we should go see Menelaus. Well we walked for awhile until we got to his house, or should i say FULL-SIZED 60 ROOMED CASTLE!!! First of all, with out being asked our names, Menelaus took us in, bathed us, and gave us rooms to sleep in. Without even asking our names, talk about luxury. I then went with Nestor's son to the banquet hall, and you will not believe what i saw. The largest, i mean LARGEST dinner buffet i have ever seen, I mean, there was a Cow on the table right in front of me, along with a whole garden of vegetables. So i sat down, and that is when i started to hear about my father and how great of a guy he was. You know, i was so proud of my dad, that i started to cry. Right in front of the king. Talk about embarassing! So ya, crazy day, all to be let up to a good night sleep. Say, I wonder how my mommy is handling those suitors. I hope she is laying down the law and getting them off our property!

Book 2

This morning, i woke up with new vigor. I can finally say that i am Odysseus' son! I woke up and decided to make a speech to my fellow suitors to see if they will embark with me on a quest to find my father! So i had a great speech about the need to find my father, Odysseus, right, and when i was done all the suitors were like, "Yo man, its your moms fault we are here, she tricked us." So after my amazing speech, they just threw me back down with insults! They then started to talk about my mom in bad ways, and i guess zeus heard them, and sent down two eagles that wreaked some serios havok on the suitors. I tried to explain to them that that was a sign of Zeus, and that they should do what i say, but they just said, "No, Birds do random stuff." Like ever single day bird come down from they sky and start attacking you! I mean, do we like live in different places or something, 'cause I've never seen an eagle come down and attack people for now reason! I had to sit down for a while to clear my head and plan my next speech, but when i stood up, the words flowed from my mouth, and i actually felt like my father, where people listen to me. I asked them for a ship with 20 crewmates, and sure enough all of the hard work payed off 'cause i had a full ship, and after some beer and food we were off to find my father!

Book 1

Hey everybody this is Telemakhas, and I'm going to try out this new blog thing. Hmmm, so lets see what i did today... Well the day started off as usual, the suitors were in my house partying it up. How was I ever going to get rid of these suitors? All they ever do is eat all my stuff and they never listen to me and always disrespect me. If only my father were her, boo hoo. Well, speaking of my father, a fine family friend came in today to my house asking for Odysseus and wanting to know what all this partying was about. I tried to tell him about how my father was dead, but he wouldn't listen to me and kept telling me he was alive on some island, and that I should go find him. Well it is now getting late and the suitors are filtering out the door. I am watching them leave from my bedroom. I'm getting tired so i will talk to you tomorrow, maybe tomorrow i will finally man up, and get these suitors out of my house! lol...
